Jenkins Johnson Gallery, new member of ADAA, was founded in San Francisco in 1996. We represent international contemporary artists working across disciplines. We exhibit the works of 20th-century masters including Jae and Wadsworth Jarrell, Gordon Parks, Ming Smith and Aubrey Williams. Our program includes established, mid-career and emerging artists like Lisa Corinne Davis, Aida Muluneh and Blessing Ngobeni. Our artists are in museums including the Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum, The Getty, and Tate. They have exhibited in invitationals including Venice Biennale and Prospect.

We are a hub for underrepresented artists and curators of color. In 2017 Jenkins Johnson Projects opened in Brooklyn furthering our mission. We have participated in fairs including: Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, FOG Design+Art, Frieze Masters, Frieze NY, Frieze London, The Armory Show and Paris Photo. Karen Jenkins-Johnson is a 2021 ARTNews Deciders, 2020 Artnet Innovator and Observer Arts Power 50.
