Galerie Christian Lethert
Founded in August 2006 by Christian Lethert, the gallery, with its abstract-minimalist program, has grown into an internationally operating business. By fostering close relationships with artists, their work and their personal stories, Galerie Christian Lethert has become a place where not only art is presented but also various encounters and developments happen that ultimately lead to placing art into collections and museums. Besides working with internationally established artists such as Imi Knoebel and Richard Tuttle, the gallery also represents selected emerging artists like Rana Begum, Pius Fox and Natascha Schmitten. Changing solo and group exhibitions are supplemented by catalog presentations. Since 2006 Galerie Christian Lethert has presented its program at art fairs all over the world and was able to place works of art into private and corporate collections, like the Hessel Museum of Art, New York, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Hamburger Kunsthalle or the Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin, to name a few. In addition to various collaborations with galleries, art clubs and museums, the gallery’s credentials include worldwide exhibitions, important awards, fellowships and public projects of its artists.
