Benjamin Genocchio is a former New York Times art critic. He holds a PhD in art history and is the author and editor of several books on the visual arts and the art market, including two books on Asian contemporary art.
He began his career in Australia as an art critic for The Australian newspaper before moving to New York in 2001 to join the New York Times. He later held positions as Editor-in-Chief of Art & Auction magazine and Artinfo.com. In 2014, he joined Artnet, the publicly traded German auction house and internet information services provider, where he launched and staffed Artnet News, serving as Editor-in-Chief. Artnet News flourished under his leadership, quickly becoming the most popular source for daily art news worldwide.
Nicole Berry has been active in the international art world as an art historian, art writer, curator and art advisor for over a decade. Ms. Berry holds a Master's Degree in Art History from the University of California at Davis. She served as Deputy Director of Expo Chicago from 2011 prior to joining The Armory Show.
She began her career in the Contemporary Department at Sotheby's in London and subsequently worked in New York City at Vivian Horan Fine Art, James Goodman Gallery and as Director at Nathan A. Bernstein Gallery. In 2006, Ms. Berry created Accessible Art, a company that provided advising and consulting services in addition to reviews and information on global art events.
