The Armory Show announces 235 leading international galleries exhibiting in the 2024 edition, representing 35 countries. New York’s Art Fair will return for its fourth year at the Javits Center September 6–8, with a VIP Preview on September 5.
The fair’s core section, Galleries will feature outstanding thematic, dual-artist, and solo-artist presentations.
The Solo section is dedicated to intimate presentations of work by a single emerging, established, or historic artist working in the 20th or 21st century.
The Focus section, curated by Robyn Farrell, re-engages the experimental spirit and avant-garde histories of the fair’s founding.
The Presents section spotlights emerging galleries no more than ten years old, showcasing recent work in solo-and-dual artist presentations.
Curated by Eugenie Tsai, the Platform section will examine the fair's overarching theme of art-historical reverberations echoing in the present through large-scale installations and site-specific works.
Participating organizations—ranging from museums to not-for-profit galleries to art foundations—with The Armory Show, share their common desire to promote the visual arts to collectors and the general public alike.
